Fourth-Year Resident
A native of Maryland, Christopher Hydorn, M.D. attended Western
Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland, where he was a wide receiver
on the football team and a sprinter on the track team. He graduated
Phi Beta Kappa from the honors program with a major in biochemistry
and biology in 2000. He earned a doctor of medicine from the University
of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2004.
His previous research has been in monoclonal antibodies directed
against chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Dr. Hydorn began the Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at the
University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2004. He is married
and enjoys running road races and outdoor activities.
